Living with autism? Throw dyslexia and dyspraxia in too!

Having being diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism, at the age of nine, disability has shown itself as a prominent feature throughout many stages of development from childhood to adulthood.

Whether it has been the experiences of bullying on two separate occasions which encouraged an inner strength to shine through or constant defiance against odds set out in life that have developed a defence system, adaptations are constantly being made to help cope with unavoidable shortfalls.

Making such changes to find a way of living with a disability that is currently uncureable, experiences learned throughout life have influenced any decisions made in a huge way but obstacles can still often come into view which test belief and strength. Read more of this post
